Collins team helping to rebuild Sumter Regional Hospital

On March 1, 2007 a category F3 tornado hit Sumter Regional Hospital in Americus, Georgia.  The 120-bed hospital was destroyed but, thankfully, all patients and staff were safely evacuated.  Collins Project Management was selected initially to assist Sumter Regional Hospital in the construction of a FEMA funded 50-bed Interim Hospital that will serve most immediate healthcare needs of the community.  We are now engaged to manage the design and construction of a 100-bed state of the art replacement healthcare facility.
