MOUNT PISGAH UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Worship Center

Alpharetta, Georgia

This 125,000 sq. ft. worship center includes a 3,000-seat sanctuary, an 18-classroom child development center, two youth auditoriums, playgrounds, bookstore, and an exterior baptismal pool.  The sanctuary is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system, two rear-screen projection video systems, and an operable screening system for controlling natural light.

The bell tower soars over 90 feet above the surrounding landscape.  This all brick and pre-cast signature building is the focal point of the Mt. Pisgah UMC and School campus.

R.J. Griffin was awarded the 2001 Craftsmanship Award of Excellence (1st place) from the Masonry Association of Georgia for this project.
